General information
To travel to Indonesia (Tourism or Business), you can try to obtain the Visa on arrival (also called VOA), or obtain the eVisa (also called E-VOA) before departure for more peace of mind.
Travelers must have a passport (in very good condition) with a validity greater than 6 months on the date of entry into Indonesia and a sufficient number of blank pages to affix the Visa and entry/exit from the territory stamps.

Do you need a Visa for Indonesia?
To travel to Indonesia a Visa is generally required with a few exceptions.
Nationals of the following countries do not need a visa to travel to Indonesia: Malaysia, Laos, Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Myanmar and Thailand.

With regards to the C17 eVisas (Audit, Quality Control, INspection), C22 eVisas (A – internship or B – working permit) and C2 eVisa (Business – more than 30 days stay in Indonesia), it will have to be obtained directly by your sponsor in Indonesia.
Conditions of entry in Indonesia
To be able to enter the territory of Indonesia, the traveler must have their passport with Visa/eVisa as well as a return plane ticket.
There are currently no health restrictions for entering Indonesian territory.
The “All Indonesia” Arrival Card will be officially rolled out from September 1st in Jakarta, Bali and Surabaya, before becoming mandatory at all international airports in Indonesia on October 1st, 2025. Visa Travel International can arrange this arrival card for you.
It should be noted that, even if the traveler is in possession of all the documents requested to validate his entry into Indonesia, the Indonesian authorities reserve the right to refuse access to their territory without having to justify it.
Understanding the Visa for Indonesia
The Business or Tourism eVisa (B1 – B2) is valid for 90 days for a single entry and for a maximum stay of 30 days on site.
The B1 and B2 eVisas are in fact Visas On Arrival, which must be obtained online before departure and which are then affixed to the passport of passengers upon arrival in Indonesia

- A copy, in color and optimal quality, of page No. 2 of the passport (emergency passport ineligible), valid for at least 6 months after entry into Indonesia
- A recent identity photo, in color, on a white background and in optimal quality, different from that of the passport (click here to find out the characteristics)
