Do you need a Visa for Burkina Faso ?

A Visa for Burkina Faso is compulsory except for nationals of the following countries (for a stay of less than 90 days): Benin, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali , Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
However, be careful to inform yourself regularly about this exemption, which can be questioned at any time by the Burkinabese authorities.

It should be noted that a Visa can be issued at border posts but without guarantee.
In addition, the billing for this Visa will be much higher than during your visit to the consulate.

Conditions of entry in Burkina Faso

To be able to enter the territory of Burkina Faso, the traveler must bring his passport with Visa as well as a return flight ticket.
The results of a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours will also be needed. It should be noted that, even if the traveler is in possession of all the documents requested to validate his entry into Burkina Faso, the authorities reserve the right to refuse access to their territory without having to justify it.

The single entry Visa for Burkina Faso becomes valid on the dates indicated in the Visa application file.
The multiple entry Visa is valid for the period chosen.
