General information

An eVisa (pre enrolment) to go to Cameroon is mandatory and should be requested on-line before departure, except for nationals of the following countries: Congo-Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea, Chad, Central African Republic, Nigeria, Gabon.

Be careful, however, to keep you regularly informed about this exemption list which may be questioned at any time by the Cameroonian authorities.

Do you need a Visa for Cameroon ?

An eVisa (pre enrolment) to go to Cameroon is mandatory and should be requested  before departure, except for nationals of the following countries: Congo-Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea, Chad, Central African Republic, Nigeria, Gabon.

Visa Travel International is able to assist you in getting this eVisa as we are accredited by the Cameroonian consulate in Paris.

Be careful, however, to keep you regularly informed about this exemption list which may be questioned at any time by the Cameroonian authorities.

Conditions of entry in Cameroon

To be able to enter the territory of Cameroon, the traveler must bring his passport with pre-enrolment Visa as well as a list of documents (Visa Travel International will share with you the list) and a return flight ticket.

It should be noted that, even if the traveler is in possession of all the documents requested to validate his entry into Cameroon, the Cameroonian authorities reserve the right to refuse access to their territory without having to justify it.

Understanding the Visa for Cameroon

The Cameroon Visa is valid for a stay of 30 days on site for a single entry Visa and allows a stay of up to 90 days as part of a professional visit.

Documents to be provided : Visa Business (pre enrolment/on-line)

  • A scan of the data page of your signed passport (valid 6 months after the date of your return).
  • A letter of invitation with the letterhead of the Cameroonian company containing MANDATORY the name and quality of the signatory of the letter, as well as the commercial stamp – This document MUST be legalized by a local authority
  • An “Ordre de Mission” (mission letter) from your company addressed to the Consul specifying the exact reason for the trip, dates of your stay, the notion of the company’s assumption of expenses, the commercial stamp with the name, the quality of the signatory of the letter
  • A hotel reservation from Cameroon or an accommodation certificate legalized by a competent authority on site.
  • Proof of resources (account statement for the last three months or pay slips for the last months or tax notices)
  • Scan of your return flight ticket
  • A scan of your vaccination booklet (yellow ferver)
  • A proof of residence

  • A copy of your residence card for non-european people as well as a proof of residence for non-French people.

Documents to be provided : Visa Tourism (pre enrolment/on-line)

● A scan of the data page of your (signed) passport valid 6 months after the date of your return.

● A Visa application form completed online and printed on the website: Consulate general of the Republic of Cameroon or complete the Cameroon VTI Form document and we will take care of registering the Form online for you

● A hotel reservation from Cameroon or a certificate of accommodation legalized by a competent authority on site.

● An air flight itinerary

  • A scan of your vaccination booklet (yellow fever)

● A proof of residence.

● A copy of your residence card for non-european people as well as a proof of residence for non-french people.

To date, only electronic Visas called pre-enrolment exist. Given that it is an online procedure, the constitution of your file with good quality and complete parts/documents (no blurred scan, no incomplete invitation letter, etc.) are key elements for allow us to meet the deadlines for obtaining your visa. Pay attention to the constitution of your file.
