Visas for Bahrain

French citizens (and many other nationalities) traveling to Bahrain must have a passport valid for six months beyond the date of entry into the country.

Travelers from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Oman are exempt from Visa requirements.

The stay is subject to the issuance of a Visa, which can be obtained directly upon arrival at the airport.

Note: the Bahraini Embassy in Paris does not issue Visas.

Two lengths of stay are available to the traveler, subject to payment by credit card:

14 days, at a cost of 5 BHD;

30 days, at a cost of 12 BHD.

The initial Visa can be extended for two additional stays of 30 days each. The maximum stay in Bahrain is therefore set at 90 consecutive days, after which it is mandatory to leave the country. Visa extensions are at the discretion of the Bahraini authorities.

It is also possible to obtain an eVisa (for both business and tourism purposes) prior to your trip, allowing you to travel with complete peace of mind and enter Bahrain with this passport. Visa Travel International can obtain this eVisa for you.

The Bahraini authorities retain sole authority and may refuse entry to any traveler for any reason.

There are currently no health restrictions for travel to Bahrain.

To enter the country, travelers must have their passport and eVisa, if obtained before departure.

It should be noted that even if the traveler is in possession of all the documents required to validate their entry to Bharain, the local authorities reserve the right to refuse entry to their territory without providing a reason.

The eVisas are valid 3 months for either 14 days per stay (Single entry) or 30 days of stay (Multiple entry).

• For non-Schengen nationalities, the last 3 pay slips with a minimum balance of €700 each month
