Currently, visa applications will only be processed in standard service (6 working days), express service is suspended until further notice.

Visa application: limits and conditions

Requesters of visa C (crew visa for crew) can go to the Visa Centre to submit their application during the opening hours without an appointment.

Applicants travelling to China for urgent humanitarian needs, visiting a critically ill family member or attending the funeral of a loved one (parents, spouse, children, grandparents, grandchildren) must apply by email accompanied by a medical certificate or death certificate and an official document to establish the kinship.

Applicants with a confirmation email will be allowed to submit their visa application. They will be able to go to the Centre on the day of the appointment, indicated in the confirmation email, with the necessary documents.

The Chinese Visa Centre only accepts visa applications that meet the above requirements.

Visa applications that do not meet these conditions are temporarily not accepted.
