China informs us of new simplification measures concerning entry into the country for travelers.

The country has decided to simplify the procedures (a little bit) for foreign travelers regarding flight bans, COVID19 tests and the quarantine period to be done.

Travelers arriving in China will be required to have completed a single negative PCR test (performed within 48 hours prior to boarding).

The quarantine goes from 10 days to eight days and people in contact will no longer be traced, which will allow many people to avoid quarantine.

This is a step in the right direction but still remains (a little) restrictive… until China comes out of its 0 COVID policy.
