As of October 15, 2025, an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) will become mandatory for all travelers to Sri Lanka.
Please note that the visa on arrival requirement has been eliminated 🚨
Sri Lanka has also announced the possibility of ETA exemptions for 33 countries (including France), but nothing has yet been confirmed.
